ACQUITTED MEGAMAN PLANS FILM MOVE
Former SO SOLID CREW rapper DWAYNE 'MEGAMAN' VINCENT insists the British urban collective will not be making a comeback, and he will instead focus on a movie career. Vincent, who was cleared of murder in London's Old Bailey court yesterday (28SEP06), topped the UK charts in 2001 with the hit single 21 SECONDS. He says, "There will never be a So Solid how it was before. I just want to take a back seat at this present time." However, Vincent is planning to "structure my business properly - maybe put a few films out". Several members of the So Solid Crew have moved onto other projects, particularly ASHER D, who picked up his acting career again as ASHLEY WALTERS, making a name for himself with parts in films including GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN' and STORMBREAKER.
