AC/DC WARN FANS OVER FALSE GIG REPORTS

Rockers AC DC are warning fans not to buy tickets to a string of gigs in Italy - because they don't have any dates scheduled in the country.
The Back in Black hitmakers are currently playing the American leg of their ongoing Black Ice world tour, which is due to wrap up in Japan on 16 March (10).
But the band was rumoured to have booked another two gigs in Europe after an Italian newspaper claimed AC DC would perform at the Olympic Stadium in Turin on 8 and 9 June in 2010.
Bosses at AC DC's Italian concert promoter, Barley Arts, have dismissed the rumours and are urging fans to avoid buying tickets to gigs unless they are officially announced by the band or on the Barley Arts site.
The rockers were previously embroiled in a ticketing scandal in Romania, when promoters falsely claimed the band would headline a festival in the country in May (09). The group issued a statement denying their involvement and urging fans not to be duped by the reports.
