AC/DC FANS EAGER TO SEE BAND DIE ONSTAGE

Australian rockers AC DC have come up with a novel theory why their latest tour is a sell-out - they are convinced the crowd bought tickets to see them die on stage.
The band's live dates sold out within hours of going onsale earlier this month (Oct08) following the furore around new album Black Ice, which is released on Monday (20Oct08).
But frontman Brian Johnson is sure that the advancing age of the group's members is a huge factor in people wanting to see the show.
He says, "Some fans are saying, 'The singer's 61. I'm going to that gig. I might see him die.'
"So I've got a fitness guy coming in from Formula 1 who's gonna work with me for two weeks. He's a specialist in stamina. He's gonna work us like a dog."
The rockers kick off their U.K. tour in April (09) following their extended North American trek which ends in January (09).
