ABRAMS TO FIGHT FOR KING'S DARK TOWER

LOST co-creator and MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: III director JJ ABRAMS is in talks to acquire the rights to horror writer STEPHEN KING's novel THE DARK TOWER. King has been keen to keep the project away from Hollywood hands but the writer is reportedly a huge fan of Abrams' desert island drama - and is thrilled about working with the director. According to US magazine Entertainment Weekly, Abrams will team up with his Lost co-creator DAMON LINDELHOF on the project. Lindelhof is slated to pen the screenplay.
