ABDUL: 'I ALREADY FEEL LIKE A MUM'

PAULA ABDUL never feels lonely on Mother's Day - because she is a maternal figure to her AMERICAN IDOL co-stars SIMON COWELL, RANDY JACKSON and RYAN SEACREST.
The 46-year-old TV judge is often quizzed on whether she will ever become a mother, and recently revealed she is considering adoption - if the right man comes along.
She told reporters, "I'd love to have children with that soulmate. Adoption is definitely an option."
But the star isn't pining for parenthood - because she is like a mum to all the people in her life - including her fellow panellists and contestants on the hit U.S. talent show.
She tells Hollyscoop.com, "I'm a mother to Simon, Ryan, and Randy... and all the former contestants, you know I really play that role. That's not a role to play actually, it's who I am authentically."
