A MONTH OF HONOURS FOR MORRICONE

Celebrated movie composer ENNIO MORRICONE will have no problems remembering February, 2007 for the rest of his life - as well as receiving an Oscar honour, the world's biggest music names are paying tribute to him on record. The music legend, who is famous for stirring film scores like THE GOOD, THE BAD + THE UGLY and THE UNTOUCHABLES, will receive an Honorary Academy Award at the Oscars on 25 February (07), but that's just the beginning of a year to remember. Stars like BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, HERBIE HANCOCK, CELINE DION and ROGER WATERS have reworked Morricone's most memorable compositions for an ambitious new tribute album, WE ALL LOVE ENNIO MORRICONE - which will be released on 20 February (07). Morricone was so thrilled with the project, which took five years to record, he conducted three pieces on the album himself.
