RENEE ZELLWEGER's New Year began traumatically - her pet cat was run over. The actress' beloved puss, GRADY, is recovering after losing several of her nine lives on a road near his mistress' new home in Connecticut. She says, "She got hit by a car... She's a little battered by it... She was hanging out on a country road and not paying attention, I suppose, and it got her in the head. "She's doing alright, she can't open the left eye very well right now and I think she might've gone a little deaf. She's a little less arrogant, you might say."
