RADIOHEAD - YORKE: 'SOLO WORK IS DULL'
RADIOHEAD star THOM YORKE has ruled out further releases as a solo artist - because he found the experience too "dull". The singer launched a solo career last year (06) with his album The Eraser, but admits he is relieved to have the support of his bandmates for the release of the rockers' latest album, In Rainbows. But Yorke also confesses recording with Radiohead again was a bit of a shock to his system because he was used to being the one in control. He says, "(Going solo) was kind of dull. It was deeply unsatisfying because you weren't sharing much of the (recording) process but then I got back with the band and it was like, 'Oh my god, there's all these other people I have to work with now'."
