WYMAN STUNNED BY NUTINI'S TALENT
ROLLING STONE BILL WYMAN is so impressed by Scottish singer PAOLO NUTINI, he wants to work with the star on his next album. The New Shoes hitmaker joined Wyman's Rhythm Kings group on stage at the recent Led Zeppelin reunion concert in London in December (07), and the veteran rocker was blown away by Nutini's talent. He says, "Paolo is a great young singer. He's got a very original style. When I heard his records I was impressed. He's got this unusual way of singing I find charming. He doesn't sing the way you'd expect a guy of 20 to sing. It makes him stand out. "I'd love to do it. I hope the timing is right so we can sort it out."
