FUGEES star WYCLEF JEAN is hoping to boost his popularity in Asia by recording a new tune with Singapore's answer to MADONNA. After duetting with Colombia's SHAKIRA on the summer chart-topper HIPS DON'T LIE, the Haitian hip-hop hero hopes he has another international smash-hit on his hands after recording a new track with Asian pop superstar SUN. The Singapore singer, who is a four-time platinum artist in Asia, is recording with Wyclef in New York in a bid to launch her English-language career in America. Sun is thrilled to be working with the GONE 'TIL NOVEMBER singer at his New York studio, and is convinced their untitled collaboration will be a massive feel-good dancefloor hit. She says, "The lyrics tell everyone to get to the dance floor and dance away your problems. Who can't relate to that?" Sun's much-anticipated US album also features the talents of DONNA SUMMER, songwriter and humanitarian DENISE RICH and hitmaker DIANE WARREN.
