WRESTLING LIFTS MYNETWORKTV RATINGS

The struggling MyNetworkTV literally got off the mat Friday when the network's debut of WWW Friday Night Smakdown delivered 3.2 million viewers, representing the network's biggest audience ever. MNT said that the two-hour wrestling show, which previously aired on The CW, boosted its overall household ratings 217 percent and its ratings for adults 18-49 233 percent over the same Friday a year ago. Greg Meidel, president of MyNetworkTV, called the ratings "a knockout."
