WITCHBLADE - WITCHBLADE STAR BUTLER ARRESTED

Former WITCHBLADE actress YANCY BUTLER has been charged with driving under the influence after crashing her car in Connecticut. The 36-year-old, who won a Saturn award for her portrayal of Detective SARA 'PEZ' PEZZINI in the cult TV show, smashed her Saab 900 vehicle into a wire guard rail in Sharon. On Tuesday (13MAR07), she was charged with DUI and failing to drive in the established lane. She was released on $500 (GBP256) bond and is scheduled to return to Bantam Superior Court on 26 March (07). In February (07), Butler was charged with disorderly conduct following an argument with an ex-boyfriend.
