AMY WINEHOUSE - WINEHOUSE'S PARENTS DISAGREE OVER NEW LOVE

AMY WINEHOUSE's parents have clashed over the reports of the singer's romance with new man ALEX HAYNES - her mother JANIS is delighted with the news, while dad MITCH is angry the star has been cheating on her jailed husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL.
The Rehab hitmaker is alleged to have broken off her 11-month marriage last Monday (21Apr08), after falling for her manager's assistant, 24-year-old Haynes.
But the news has been met by mixed reactions from her estranged parents.
Cab driver Mitch Winehouse has confirmed speculation Amy has embarked on a new relationship with Haynes, and is furious the pair's professional relationship has spilled over into their personal lives.
But Mitch blames his daughter for the love triangle, because he is convinced she made the first move.
He fumes, "It's unbelievable... I am shocked. His (Hayne's) job was to look after Amy. I asked him to stay with Amy while she was recording... This was not part of the job!
"I don't like infidelity. But Alex could be the victim in all this. I can't ever imagine Alex seducing Amy. It was clearly the other way round and Amy had her wicked way with him. But I would never dream of putting those two together."
In contrast, Janis Winehouse is delighted the singer has put an end to her troubled marriage, because she holds Fielder-Civil responsible for Amy's drug problems.
And, after being introduced to Haynes over a fortnight ago, has already been won over by his charm.
She says, "He's a lovely boy - gentle and sweet. He really looked after Amy, popping out to buy cigarettes, papers, anything she wanted. He works for her manager so their relationship was professional to begin with, but, if they've made something of it, I'm thrilled.
"Blake set her down the wrong path - drugs and self-harm. She needs a man she can depend on, who can look after her. I'm praying that Alex is that man."
