AMY WINEHOUSE - WINEHOUSE JETS TO CARIBBEAN FOR NYE WITH BRYAN ADAMS

Troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE has jetted off to the Caribbean to spend New Year's Eve at the beachside home of rocker BRYAN ADAMS. According to blogger Perez Hilton, the star will take time out on the tiny island of Mustique with Adams, who is currently shooting a video there. Winehouse will be in good company on Mustique; Hugh Grant and Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton are seeing in the New Year on the island, where Sir Mick Jagger and Tommy Hilfiger have homes. It has been a troubled 2007 for the star. She dominated British newspaper headlines all year after a series of drink and drug-fuelled binges. The 24-year-old was recently ordered to appear in court in Norway to appeal drug possession charges - and has been banned from visiting her husband Blake Fielder-Civil in prison in London, where he is awaiting trial on charges of assault and trial-fixing, after he failed a drug test.
