AMY WINEHOUSE - WINEHOUSE DENIES REHAB SPECULATION

AMY WINEHOUSE has dismissed reports she has checked into rehab following the release of a video showing her indulging in a major drugs binge. The footage - which was obtained by British newspaper The Sun - was taken at Winehouse's London apartment on Friday (18Jan08) and shows the singer snorting powdered ecstasy and lighting up a crack pipe. However, reports that Winehouse entered a recovery facility on Tuesday (22Jan08) are false. The British star's representative says, "Amy is not in rehab. "She was seeing a doctor who she regularly sees as part of her ongoing treatment. It was a regular appointment which she attends all the time."
