OWEN WILSON - WILSON MOVES BACK INTO PUBLIC EYE

Troubled movie star OWEN WILSON has taken tentative steps back into public life this weekend - giving fans a sign of hope he is on the road to recovery. The Wedding Crashers actor, who gave his first interview on Friday (26Oct07) with pal Wes Anderson, was spotted on Saturday (27Oct07) going to dinner with friends at celebrity haunt Mr Chow's in Beverly Hills. The following night (Sun28Oct07) he attended a party at the Museum of Contemporary Arts, also in Los Angeles. Prior to this weekend the 38-year-old funnyman had been living a near-hermit-like existence, following events in August (07) which saw him slash his wrists at his Santa Monica home and taken to hospital.
