OWEN WILSON - WILSON JOINS HARRELSON + NELSON FOR LAWN MOWER RACE

Troubled OWEN WILSON enjoyed a few rare laughs following his alleged suicide attempt by joining pals WILLIE NELSON and WOODY HARRELSON in a lawn mower-riding competition in Texas last week (ends19Oct07). The actor and brothers Luke and Andrew were among the celebrities who put their pride to one side to compete in Nelson's Bad Boy Lawn Mower Race, held at the country icon's Austin estate. Nelson's Dukes of Hazzard co-star Jessica Simpson also took part - on a pink lawn mower. The event was filmed for Nelson's new music video You Don't Think I'm Funny Anymore. Wilson, 38, was hospitalised in August (07) after brother Andrew found him in a distressed state at his home in Santa Monica, California. The actor had reportedly slashed his wrists.
