VANESSA WILLIAMS - WILLIAMS: 'BECKHAM IS NO DIVA'

UGLY BETTY star VANESSA WILLIAMS is desperate to land VICTORIA BECKHAM a recurring role on the hit show - insisting she didn't behave like a diva on set. The actress, who plays ruthless fashion queen Wilhelmina Slater in the series, believes the Spice Girl would be the perfect addition to the series, because her cameo performance last year (07) was "phenomenal". TV executives are considering creating a permanent position on the show for Beckham after being impressed by the star's comedic turn as herself. Williams rubbished rumours that the former Spice Girl is difficult to work with and travels accompanied by a huge entourage. The 44-year-old says, "Victoria Beckham was fabulous. When she shot my (Wilhelmina Slater's) wedding episode she worked all day. "She wore fuzzy little clothes and she didn't bring in her own team for make-up or anything. She worked hard and wasn't a diva at all. I thought her appearance was phenomenal actually."
