BLACK EYED PEAS rapper WILL.I.AM is convinced GIRLS ALOUD star CHERYL COLE found collaborating on his new song therapeutic - as the lyrics helped her through her marriage problems.
Cole is married to English soccer ace Ashley Cole but the couple has recently been rocked by claims of the sportsman's alleged infidelities.
And will.i.am is sure that teaming up with him for forthcoming single Heatbreaker allowed the brunette beauty to express her feelings about her own relationship.
He says, "On the record she's calling me a heartbreaker and she says 'effing jerk'. Every time she says that she's really letting out some anger.
"When Cheryl came to L.A. she said, 'I love this song, I'm going through a lot right now, I could really relate to this.'"
