WILD WAYS AREN'T FOR DUNST

Former child star KIRSTEN DUNST never walked the wild path like so many other child stars - insisting finding fame early made her more grown up. THE SPIDER-MAN actress shot to fame as an eleven-year-old in an INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE. But, where stars like DREW BARRYMORE, COREY FELDMAN and EDWARD FURLONG, turned to drink and drugs to cope with their celebrity - Dunst kept her feet firmly on the ground. She says, "I was always very responsible and sensible. I went through my teens like an adult, always being careful not to stay out late or get myself into trouble. For most kids, it's a carefree time. But not for me.' "I've never come across cocaine on a film set. Maybe someone's using it, but I'm very naive about that. I don't smoke and I've only tried pot once in my life. I do everything in moderation. I drink, but I don't go out and get plastered. "I deal with my problems, so I don't have vices over which I have no control."
