Rocker JACK WHITE amazed onlookers at a London club on Sunday (27May07) night, when he arrived unannounced and proceeded to play a three song set. The White Stripes frontman played new song Effect And Cause and Sugar Never Tasted So Good, backed by ex-Soledad Brothers drummer Ben Swank, at The Social venue's Sonic Cathedral night. White then played a requested cover of The Animals' The House Of The Rising Sun.
