JENNIFER HUDSON - WHITAKER, HUDSON REPEAT WINNERS AT IMAGE AWARDS

Forrest Whitaker and Jennifer Hudson received additions to their trophy collection as they took home Image Awards at ceremonies staged by the NAACP in Los Angeles Friday night. Whittaker, who won the best actor Oscar last month, earned a similar prize Friday. Hudson, who won the best supporting actress Oscar, also won the same prize Friday. She told her audience, "There is nothing like being recognized and honored by your own." Keke Palmer won the best actress trophy for Akeelah and the Bee. The best picture award went to The Pursuit of Happyness, which starred Will Smith and his son.
