KANYE WEST - WEST TURNS JEWELLERY DESIGNER

Superstar rapper KANYE WEST is designing his own jewellery line. The 30-year-old has teamed up with artist Takashi Murakami - who designed the artwork for the hip-hop star's recent Graduation album - to work on the collection. West last week (ends05Oct07) unveiled a prototype piece from his upcoming jewellery range, which currently has no release date, at fashion designer Givenchy's show in New York. He said, "They'll be more accessible, they won't be all diamonds."
