KANYE WEST - WEST + PHIFER ALREADY HUSBAND AND WIFE?

Rapper KANYE WEST and his longterm girlfriend ALEXIS PHIFER are reportedly husband and wife after wedding in secret last month (Feb08). The Gold Digger star, who proposed to Phifer during a romantic Italian vacation in 2006, is alleged to have exchanged nuptials with the designer while holidaying in Europe in February. The couple was spotted in France attending catwalk shows during Paris Fashion Week, which ended on 2 March (08). If reports by MediaTakeOut.com are true, West would have achieved his aim of having a small private wedding away from the glare of the media. In an interview with American magazine GQ last year (07), he said: "I'm just going to go and get married, I'm not going to make a big deal out of it." The loved-up pair was previously expected to marry by the end of 2007, with West spurred on to continue with wedding plans to fulfil his mother's final wish. His mum Donda died in November (07) from a pre-existing coronary artery disease, just one day after undergoing tummy tuck and breast reduction surgery in Los Angeles.
