FALL OUT BOY star PETE WENTZ admits he is envious of British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS - because the ANGEL singer can lead a so-called "double-life". Rocker Wentz is amazed by Williams' popularity in Europe - but relative obscurity in America - and is envious the former TAKE THAT hunk gets the best of both worlds. He says, "I haven't heard any of his songs. I thought the name of his record THE EGO HAS LANDED is probably one of the most brilliant things to do. "And I think it's gotta be amazing to be able to be like one of the most sought after people over here in Europe and then be able to go to LA and live completely anonymously. "That's probably really exciting, I think."

Am I totally lame, but I have no idea who this Wentz guy is. It almost seems like a backhanded compliment. It would be one thing to have someone like Bono talk of being envious of this "double life" but Wentz surely would not get mobbed in America either (is he American? British?) That's how little I know of him, sorry. Sounds like he, though, is someone who likely could have his cake and eat it, too. On a side note, why do people make it sound like robbie has tried SOOO hard to break America? He himself has said maybe at one time, but he really doesn't want to expend the effort. Kudos for his honesty. Why should he try, when he has conquered the other 9/10 of the globe (the part that counts) and live peacefully otherwise. It does sound enviable...
