RACHEL WEISZ - WEISZ TURNS OSCARS INTO FASHION SHOW

RACHEL WEISZ kept Oscar waiting when she picked up her first Academy Award earlier this year (06) after taking advice from ELLEN BARKIN. The British actress was so stunned when he name was called as the Best Supporting Actress for her role in THE CONSTANT GARDENER, she forgot everything but Barkin's words of wisdom. She explains, "I was pregnant and my hormones were raging and I wanted to pee every three minutes during the ceremony. It was a crazy situation. "My fiance DARREN (ARONOFSKY) went to a party the night before the Oscars and he met Ellen Barkin there and she gave him advice for me if I won. She said, 'Tell her to walk slowly because it's the only time anyone is gonna get to see that dress.' "When I won, it was such a surreal, out-of-body experience and I just heard Ellen Barkin's words in my head to walk slowly."
