GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL - WEATHER CONDITIONS SET STAGE AT GLASTONBURY
Glastonbury festival is set to begin today with weather conditions looking considerably better than last year.
Whilst it rained for roughly three hours last night, the ground remains firm at the Somerset farm and there is little trace of the festival's famous mud.
Light showers are predicted later but the atmosphere remains extremely upbeat despite the controversy surrounding this year's line-up.
Us rapper Jay Z is set to headline the Pyramid Stage over the weekend and his presence has drawn considerable criticism from fans of the legendary festival.
Tickets sales have also been considerably lower this year, with reports suggesting that there are 1,000 still up for grabs.
Kings of Leon are set to be the highlight tonight as they perform in the headline slot.
