PINK FLOYD - WATERS' MISSING PIG SPARKS SEARCH BY COACHELLA ORGANISERS
The organisers of U.S. music festival Coachella have made an impassioned plea for the return of a giant inflatable pig belonging to ex-PINK FLOYD star ROGER WATERS.
The two-story high blimp was moored at the California event last weekend (25-27Apr08), but broke free from its tether on Sunday (27Apr08) evening and drifted off into the sky above.
And now festival organisers have put up a $10,670 (GBP5,335) reward for the inflatable animal, which has been used as part of Pink Floyd's stage show since their 1977 album Animals.
But it's not the first time Waters' pig has gone astray - the creature floated away during a photoshoot at London's Battersea Power Station in 1977, before it was later recovered.
