DYLAN WALSH - WALSH BAFFLED BY SURGERY POPULARITY

NIP/TUCK star DYLAN WALSH can't understand why cosmetic surgery is on the rise - because he thought his show would put people off. The actor felt sure the TV drama's graphic scenes would make people think again about going under the knife for facelifts, nosejobs and breast augmentation, but research shows the programme has actually boosted the plastic surgery industry. Walsh, who plays surgeon Dr. Sean MCNamara on the show, says, "It's weird to think that (the more) people see how graphic and violent the surgery is, more and more people each year sign up for it."
