MARK WAHLBERG - WAHLBERG: 'DEVITO CHANGED MY LIFE'

MARK WAHLBERG has credited DANNY DeVITO with turning his life around and giving him the confidence to lead an acclaimed acting career. The former rapper, who was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his role in THE DEPARTED, was once so focused on his music career, he wasn't interested in acting - until he worked opposite DeVito on 1994's RENAISSANCE MAN. Wahlberg says, "It was Danny DeVito who changed my life around. We worked together on Renaissance Man, which is where I developed my passion. "I love that I've been given such great opportunities to prove myself as an actor. I've learnt so much through the experience. "It's like going to school. I try to pay attention and learn as much as possible."
