LARS VON TRIER - VON TRIER FUTURE FILMMAKING IN DOUBT

Danish director LARS VON TRIER's depression has put his future film-making career in doubt. The Dogville helmer, who was admitted to hospital earlier this year (07) due to the illness, admits his depressed state has greatly affected his creativity. And Von Trier is unsure whether or not he will be able to begin work on his next movie Antichrist, which is scheduled to start filming later this year (07). He says, "It's very strange for me because I've always had at least three projects in my head at one time. "You can't make a film and be depressed at the same time. They say it can take a couple of years to recover after a depression - but let's see. "I assume that Antichrist will be my next movie, but right now I don't know."
