JON VOIGHT - VOIGHT SUPPORTS ISRAEL ON VISIT

Oscar winner JON VOIGHT has called on Israel to avoid political negotiations with neighbouring Palestine - because the country's militants are "barbarians".
The star paid a visit to Israel on Monday (12May08), where he met children whose fathers were killed in suicide bombings.
He then urged Israel not to negotiate with Palestinian militants because they "spat" on Israeli attempts at making peace with the nation.
Years of fighting in the two countries have killed more than 4,000 Palestinians and more than 1,000 Israelis.
