WINNIE THE POOH - VOICE OF EEYORE TO PLAY TRANSFORMERS STAR

The voice of WINNIE THE POOH's EEYORE has been confirmed to play OPTIMUS PRIME in next summer's (07) action blockbuster TRANSFORMERS. Movie producer LORENZO BONAVENTURA made the announcement that PETER CULLEN, who voiced Prime in the animated Transformers TV series, will reprise the character on the big screen at this weekend's (20-23JUL06) Comic-Con comic book convention in California. He says, "He's a fan favourite and the fans are very happy."
