JENNIFER GARNER's nice-guy ex MICHAEL VARTAN is being courted to play a sick serial killer in new horror movie WORST NIGHTMARES. The ALIAS star is the favourite to land the killer role in producer ALAN ROBINSON's new film, which has already landed the talents of GREG KINNEAR and BRIDGET MOYNAHAN. In the film, Kinnear will play a celebrated writer who is lured into a trap to incriminate himself in the death of six murder victims who appear to be identical to the victims from his latest best-seller, according to movie website moviehole.net. The serial killer murders each victim by using whatever their particular fear is. The movie will shoot in Los Angeles this summer.
