LATEST: The VAN HALEN reunion tour is back on following EDDIE VAN HALEN's brief medical hiatus. The rock supergroup put the tour on hold earlier this month (Mar08) to allow the guitarist to seek medical help for an undisclosed issue. The rocker, who has battled cancer and substance abuse, was put under doctors' care, and, according to publicists, will "continue medical tests to define a course of treatment". Reports suggested the Van Halen star had returned to rehab, but his ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli has dismissed the claims. As a result of his medical problem, 17 Van Halen dates were postponed. But the band is back on the road again - the tour will proceed on 19 April (08) in Las Vegas. Twenty new dates have been added, concluding with a gig in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 2 June (08).
