VAN HALEN - VAN HALEN BIOGRAPHER: `REUNION SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED ANTHONY'

VAN HALEN biographer IAN CHRISTE has criticised the group's reunion plans because fans want the original line-up back on the road.
Siblings Eddie and Alex Van Halen will hit the road with original frontman David Lee Roth and Eddie's teenage son Wolfgang later this year (07) - but Christe states bass player Michael Anthony should have been included in the tour plans.
The author, who penned Everybody Wants Some: The Van Halen Saga, tells website BringBackGlam.com, "I think the original four-man Van Halen is what the world wants. It would be great if Wolfie were part of that, or part of a future Van Halen, but everybody wants a little piece of 1977 first.
"Wolfgang could learn a lot from watching the team in action. Of course it's Eddie's decision, and this is a great gift he's giving his son. We will all know before the end of the year whether father knows best."

Anthony has a great voice. I hope the background vocals will still be great.
Anthony is a good guy and deserved the reunion. He wa sa cloass act at the Hall
of Fame induction. But let's face it none of us went to see Anthony.... Blood
is thicker than water.
