VAN HALEN - VAN HALEN ARE GETTING READY TO JUMP

LATEST: VAN HALEN's reunion plans are set in stone, according to press reports in America.
After months of speculation, the group will hit the road this summer (07) with original frontman DAVID LEE ROTH and leader EDDIE VAN HALEN's teenage son WOLFGANG on bass.
According to billboard.com a contract has already been signed between Van Halen and tour promoter Live Nation, who will produce a 40-date trek, marking Roth's first dates with his old bandmates in over 20 years.
It'll be a family affair all round - joining father and son Eddie and Wolfgang will be original drummer ALEX VAN HALEN.
The group last toured in 2004 with vocalist SAMMY HAGAR, who replaced Roth in the band.

Eddie just won't give the fans what they want, the original Van Halen.Sorry I
cant get 100% excited about this reunion with out Micheal Anthony. It's great
that Dave's back ,but it wont be the same.I'm about 75% excited. Bring Mike
back too, and rock like you did in "81"
I think its Great. Finally,Michael Anthony is a good Bass player however he
like most Bass players are a dime a dozen and its sad that he won't be there
however he is no say "Stanley Clark" talent wise. Now Dave is a great
"Entertainer" and has always had just the right voice for the "Musician"
Eddie's Guitar works. And Alex? What a talented "Powerfull" Drummer he truly
is. And the Wolfgang, Good for you and your Dad and what a launch for your own
Musical Carrer. Enough said......
