JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME - VAN DAMME: I HAD AN AFFAIR WITH KYLIE

Action film veteran Jean-Claude Van Damme claims he and singer Kylie Minogue had an affair on the set of StreetFighter.

In an interview with Empire, the 'Muscles from Brussels' revealed he and the princess of pop became more than just friends during filming.

While the 46-year-old said he regrets making the universally panned 1994 flick, he said the chance to get to know Kylie had made it a film to remember.

"Street Fighter was corny to me," he told the magazine. "But there were nice things. I got to see the land of Australia and had a mini-affair with Kylie Minogue."

"If you ever see her, say hello for me to Kylie," he added.

The comments from the martial arts expert, famed for his appearances in action films such as Bloodsport and Kickboxer, come as rumours about Kylie's relationship with current boyfriend Olivier Martinez grow in the British press.

Reports in today's Daily Mail claim Martinez is becoming disillusioned with the pint-sized singer.
