KEITH URBAN - URBAN + KIDMAN PLAN FASHION RANGE INSPIRED BY PET NAMES

Superstar couple KEITH URBAN and NICOLE KIDMAN are to launch their own clothing range using their nicknames for one another as inspiration for the brand name. The Better Life singer, 40, let slip at a press conference last year (07) that he refers to The Golden Compass actress by the alias of Evie, with Kidman calling the musician Hank in return. The country star has previously only sold the Hank and Evie t-shirts on his official website, but he now has ambitions to create a global brand after trademarking the couple's pseudonyms in Kidman's native Australia and the U.S. If plans of their clothing range come into fruition, the stars will join a host of other celebrities who have launched their own fashion labels, including pop stars Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake and singer/actress Jennifer Lopez.
