ALI G - UNIVERSAL SELLS BROADCAST RIGHTS TO 11 MOVIES FOR $60 MILLION

Universal has struck a $60-million deal with USA networks for 11 movies that will begin airing in 2009. Two of the films, The Bourne Ultimatum and I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, are currently running in theaters and the total amount of the deal could go higher depending on the total domestic box office for each of those films. (USA has agreed to pay 12 percent of the domestic box office for each film.) Chuck & Larry is due to air on UA in December, 2009; Bourne, one month later. Other films in the package include The Good Shepherd, Children of Men, Man of the Year, and Ali G. Indahouse. "
