The creators of UGLY BETTY have been stumped by a Hollywood rumour that their 'transsexual' character, played by REBECCA ROMIJN, is pregnant - for real. The newlywed X-Men star insists the stories aren't true, but they still managed to create a panic on the set as writers tried to figure out how they could hide a baby bump, before they went on strike. Romijn says, "I'm not pregnant but it's not out of the realm of possibility. We laugh about it with the writers of the show. How would you figure that out? Alexis doesn't have a womb!"
