TWISTA - TWISTA'S DISAPPOINTMENT AT MCDONALD'S LIVE TOUR CANCELLATION

TWISTAS MANAGER CLAIMS BUS RAID IS RESULT OF RACIAL PROFILING
TWISTA PULLED FROM MCDONALDS CITY TOUR FOR DEROGATORY LYRICS
LATEST: Rapper TWISTA has spoken out against MCDonald's move to pull him from their U.S.-sponsored tour, expressing his "hurt" and "disappointment" at the decision.
The MCDonald's Live Tour will touch down in 10 American cities this summer (07), with stars including Ne-Yo, Kenna, Kat DeLuna, the Dey, Single File and Kevin Michael performing on stages in the fast food giant's parking lots.
The Chicago emcee - real name Carl Mitchell - was dropped from the line-up for a 7 August (07) gig earlier this week (30Jul07), after MCDonald's cited his "derogatory" lyrical content as the key factor in their decision.
But Twista is "unsettled" by the restaurant chain's actions.
He tells AllHipHop.com, "I am very disappointed by MCDonald's decision to cancel my participation in the MCDonald's Live Tour.
"Being that MCDonald's and I have worked together in the past, it was unsettling that I would be removed from the tour after undergoing the planning process and receiving assurances from MCDonald's on multiple occasions that I would appear on the tour."
The MCDonald's Live Tour concludes in Austin, Texas in September (25Sep07).
