TV WRITER GOLDSTONE DIES
TV writer RAYMOND GOLDSTONE has died. He was 88. He died of a heart attack at his California home on Thursday (13Mar08). Goldstone penned scripts for a variety of hit U.S. shows including General Hospital, Knots Landing, Falcon Crest and Days of Our Lives - for which he landed a handful of Emmy nominations. A memorial service will held in Beverly Hills on 25 April (08). He is survived by his wife, actress Mary Ellen Jennings Goldstone, reports Variety.com.
