JOHN TURTURRO - TURTURRO PRAISES 'WOMANLY' GANDOLFINI

Director JOHN TURTURRO has lavished praise on THE SOPRANOS actor JAMES GANDOLFINI - for his feminine charms. Turturro was impressed by the star's ability to get in touch with his womanly side in musical comedy Romance + Cigarettes, which is finally being released in the U.S. this week (07Sep07) - nearly two years after it was released internationally. He tells the New York Daily News, "James, it's almost like he's a woman. He's a big, beautiful woman. "He's a wonderful actor, acting opposite of women. You would think all these good-looking guys are the best, but that's not necessarily true because they're much more aware of who they are on a level of vanity."
