ALEX TURNER - TURNER TAKES A BREAK FROM MONKEYS TO LAUNCH NEW BAND

Rocker ALEX TURNER is taking a break from fronting the ARCTIC MONKEYS to perform in a new band with pal MILES KANE. The pair has teamed up to front The Last Shadow Puppets and is preparing to release debut album The Age of the Understatement in April (08). The couple met when Kane's band The Rascals supported the Arctic Monkeys on tour last year (07).
