AFENI SHAKUR - TUPAC'S MOTHER ACCUSED OF TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT

AFENI SHAKUR, the mother of late rapper TUPAC SHAKUR, is facing legal action from clothing designer ISAIAH ISRAEL after accusations of trademark infringement. Israel claims Shakur used his Marco Bellini clothing line logo, which he created in 1998, to inspire the design for her Makaveli Branded logo, which she launched in 2004. Israel is seeking damages of $500,000 (GBP250,000) from Shakur, who insists her logo is original.
