KT TUNSTALL - TUNSTALL SHOWS SUPPORT FOR STRIKERS

Scottish singer/songwriter KT TUNSTALL gave striking Hollywood writers a special treat when she performed on the picket lines. The star had been booked to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno - but the series is currently on hold due to the walkouts by members of the Writers Guild Of America. Writers have been striking since 5 November (07) after talks between the union and studio representatives failed to resolve a dispute over royalties. An unfazed Tunstall picked up her guitar and played an impromptu gig in the parking lot of the California studio where the show is made, performing an exclusive acoustic set for protesters.
