JOHN HENSON - TRUCKER APOLOGISES TO RAPPER OVER 'ROAD RAGE' ATTACK
LATEST: Rapper STYLES P has received an apology from the truck driver who broke his leg in a New York state road rage attack last month (DEC06).
According to police, the star - real name DAVID STYLES - was cut up by a truck while driving through Greenburgh, Westchester County on 23 December. Styles got out of his car to remonstrate with the driver JOHN HENSON and threw napkins at his truck - but when he tried to get back in his car, Henson rammed Styles, breaking his left leg.
Styles was treated at Westchester Medical Center and later released, reports AllHipHop.com.
A regretful Henson, 50, claims he feared for his safety but has been charged with second-degree assault.
He says, "I didn't know if he had a gun or something else he was going to throw at me. I feared for my safety, so I tried to get around him on the left side. I guess I was a foot off. I was all shook up."
Henson is due in court on 26 January (07).
