Actor RIP TORN has requested a non-jury trial when he faces charges of driving while intoxicated this summer. The 76-year-old actor is accused of crashing his vehicle into a tractor-trailer in North Salem, near New York City in December last year (4DEC06). A county clerk reveals Torn has requested a non-jury trial at his court hearing in June. The MEN IN BLACK star is currently without representation after parting company with lawyer ADAM LEVY.
