JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - TIMBERLAKE POKES FUN AT PRINCE

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE poked fun at PRINCE at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills last night (15JAN07) after the pint-sized pop superstar failed to show to collect his Best Song honour. After an awkward wait, Timberlake said, "I guess Prince couldn't be here," and then the presenter crouched down to mimic the PURPLE RAIN singer and added, "so I'd like to accept this award on his behalf." Prince missed the chance to personally claim his Golden Globe for his HAPPY FEET theme, THE SONG OF THE HEART, because he was stuck in traffic. Later in the prizegiving, presenter HUGH GRANT paid tribute to the pop star, asking him to "stand up and take a bow" after joking, "It's very easy to get caught in your car in this town." Grant was arrested back in 1995 after he was caught in his vehicle with prostitute DIVINE BROWN on Sunset Boulevard.
